by admin on October 30, 2009

The Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has problems defensively against the Premier League match against Blackburn at Old Trafford tomorrow.

Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand is doubtful with a calf problem and Gary Neville will be suspended. Ryan Giggs has also taken and Danny Welbeck, scored in the Carling Cup win against Barnsley in the week, pausing with a knee injury.

“We have some doubts for tomorrow,” said Ferguson. “Ryan Giggs is a doubt, but we hope it will have to be in order. Ferdinand and Vidic both doubts – we’ll see how they are today. Gary Neville is suspended from the course. I hope we can have one or two adjustments for tomorrow, but we are facing a difficult task.

“Vidic had a calf problem for several weeks. We saw a specialist, so we’ll see how it is today. Vida and Rio both want after the disappointment of last Sunday [to play the 0-2 defeat against Liverpool].”
