Manchester United defeated rivals Manchester City 3-1 at Old Trafford in the League Cup final progress. Germany’s two goals lead through Paul Scholes and Michael Carrick before Carlos Tevez looked to have sent the game to overtime. Wayne Rooney scored a winner in overtime to send the citizens of the competition.
