Manchester United back to the top of the Premiership with an emphatic 5-0 win at crisis club Portsmouth at Old Trafford.

Team started the match without England’s new captain Rio Ferdinand because of suspension, Wes Brown and Johnny Evans in a row and center half back Gary Neville at right back.

Portsmouth manager Avram Grant made five changes to the side which lost to Fulham, and gave debut to new signing Ricardo Rocha.
With the race 52 years to the day since the Munich air disaster was a minute’s silence before kick was fully respected by all in the ground.
