Edwin van der Sar has returned to training with Manchester United for the first time since his wife collapsed with a brain haemorrhage on Christmas.
The goalkeeper was in the United compassionate leave since Annemarie van Kesteren has been hospitalized in Amsterdam on December 23, but the latest medical tests have proven that they have no permanent damage and Van der Sar has suffered from being moved to Qatar with the rest of his companions to their team training camp four days of winter.
When Van der Sar is still uncertain after he missed the last three weeks and the Dutchman has also suffered a knee injury.
He has not played since the 3-0 defeat of Everton November 21.
